I just read this story about a 55 year old grandmother who tried out for the Dallas Cowboy cheerleader squad. I have to say, my hat is off to this lady. More important than her age is the fact that she is cramming her years with experiences she can be proud of. Have you attempted anything lately that other people would call you crazy for trying? If not, why not? I am not even a football fan, I have only seen 1 full televised game of pro football in the last 51 years. But I am a big fan of people “living while they are alive”. Perhaps we can all learn something from this woman. It is never to late to take action on your dreams. When I wrote my book, “From The Trash Man To The Cash Man” I wrote it for people like Sharon Simmons that don’t stop living life just because people say “you’re too old”!
